Unfortunatly he died on the 9th of may 1998 2 days after i saw him at the moulin blues festival in Ospel Holland . The Original by Richard berry is a doo wooop KiLLAH of a tune but the sonics version is by far my fav, no doubt. They got it soundin loud, screamin, raw and energetic without forcing it. There's this next level of honesty with almost all early 60s garage bands, there's some insane acetates out there that just fuckin BANGS. Listen to Modds-Leave my house.. Imagine recording that, make the record and then try to sell it. Next level of not giving a fuck. It fucking sucks yet it gets your blood pumpin like non other. That is what this song is trynna emulate, but it kinda falls short on a number of planes. But that's just like my opinion man.
